Name:* Hyran Age:* approx. 3 years Gender:* Female Rank:* Scout Species:* Red Wolf Appearance:* She has a slightly more compact build than most Red Wolves, not as long at four and a half feet, even though her legs are of average length, this makes her more agile. Her appearance is a little more coyote like than most Red Wolves, because her crest isn't as broad, but her ears are large, and she has excellent hearing.She is about seventy pounds. Her coat has brown, mixed with the Red that Red Wolves have with a little bit of grey and white in the mix. She has short fur like many red wolves even though it protects her just as well. Along her neck there is mostly red and browns, but on her back and face more grey and white is mixed in, with her muzzle having only a hint of red, her ears are probably more brown than red with almost no grey or white in them. Her legs have different socks on them appearing grey and white or red. Along her sides they are almost as red as her ears but not quite, and her underbelly looks slightly more white and grey than her sides. She has almond shaped soft brown eyes that pop out in contrast with the grey, and may appear slightly darker depending on the lighting. Personality:* She likes her privacy, and can be hostile when wolves try to meddle in her past or emotions. Even though most see her as shy she is simply reserved and rather aloof, it takes some time to gain her respect. It is generally very hard to become friends with her, and this is proven by the fact that she considers herself to have no friends. The other side of the coin is that she has very few enemies, and is generally very difficult to provoke. She keeps secrets or as she prefers to call it 'omits some facts that some might want to know', but is an honest wolf. She normally doesn't question wolves unless she finds a good reason to, and even though she is not silent hearing her be overly active in a conversation is rare. She doesn't gift our love kindly, and is generally very loyal, which is part of the reason why she didn't want to join a pack as all commitments are taken seriously. Some wolves consider her kind, but that is a rare term, and is not seen unless she respects you, cares for you, or finds a reason to care. This being said she is honest, but not above doing things for her own personal gain.
History:* (**[b]If included[/b], (it said in the rules that my wolf starts out in the pack, but she wasn't born in the pack, it was a little confusing so if you want me to change my history I will.) She was born outside of pack lands, and she was born into a pack that was relatively small. Her parents were the alphas, but there weren't many so most of the pack was beta or yearlings. when she was a yearling the pack was taken over by a neighboring one, and her hunting skills and fighting skills were still basic. Most of the yearlings joined the other pack, and her father was killed, and her mother decided to leave the area. While leaving the territory they lost most of their pack, and she learned mainly through the necessity of it how to hunt, and her skills still have not developed much. She traveled with her brother and sister, but her sister and brother decided to form a pack, with her sister as beta and her brother found a mate, and a few other wolves joined them. Hyran though didn't want to live life as a subordinate to her brother and sister, so she continued on with her journey. By now she was about two years of age, and needed a pack. She didn't like living alone, and craved interaction. She finally found Serenity, and decided to stay there. It took her a while to get used to having other wolves around her, and sometimes even now she sneaks off into the woods and just enjoys being alone. Weaknesses:* Even though she is agile she is not a good fighter and loses most of the fights that she can't get out of. Her hunting skills are poor, and she doesn't understand healing very well. Strengths:* She is good at staying aware of what is around her, and is an acceptable tracker. Talents: She has an exceptional sense of smell, and knows (for lack of a better phrase) when to shut up. Habits: She likes to close her eyes when thinking, and occasionally flick her ears trying to stay aware of her surroundings.
